haha lol, that's so true. 1 month lowest dose of zoloft for anxiety, "harmless, not addictive" doc said. 3 weeks later, two rashes later, few days with diarrhea and vomiting later i stopped taking it. And guess what, 3 MONTHS later i still felt effects of this shit. It helped a lot for my hipochondria actually. Those 3 weeks was SO HORRIBLE that now I don't care for minor things anymore. SSRI, never again.

OTC sleeping pills just to relax. I had extreme insomnia with lots of nightmares. Although it helped me at the time in important ways, I fear sometime what regular, continual use of it does.

I took Prozac when it first came out. I was in my late twenties during the eighties. It did seem to have a permanent effect on an issue I had with anxiety/panic attacks that would sometimes get delusional. I still get anxiety but it just doesn't manifest in that way anymore. Which I can tell you was a great relief because they were truly horrifying. But it also seemed to put me in a blissful, carefree state. Prior to then I would regularly take 6

i think medications effect different brains differently, its not an antidepressant, but my dr gave me melatonin to sleep and said not to take more than 3 because i would wake up in a hospital..... i didnt even sleep after taking 4.
